I had a lovely chat with a young friend the other day and Reverse Mortgages came up in our conversation. She said that she would be really upset if her mum went short of anything in her retirement just because she wanted to leave her children as much as she could. She wants her mum to have the best and most comfortable retirement possible. She would like to see her mum travel, go on holidays, go out for dinner with friends, etc. She doesn’t expect, nor want her mum to leave her home to her adult children.
